Issued in 2017 and never reissued, Sangles en zigzag (Zigzag Straps) is a scarf drawn by Virginie Jamin from an 1885 plate taken from a book in the Émile Hermès collection. The artist — an expert in geometric compositions — transforms the technical drawing of ceremonial straps into a superb visual choreography. The straps cross and overlap in a virtuoso mix of lines, checkerboards and colourful braiding. A superb graphic and contemporary scarf, with a very luminous and joyful palette. Rare and sought after. In excellent condition.
